Protein Frappuccino Style Shake
If you like iced coffee ‘frappuccino’ style drinks, save some money and make your own. Doing so will allow you to add protein and skip the corn syrup you might find in other iced coffee drinks. Instead of feeling guilty about drinking a sugary frappuccino, feel good about getting extra protein in your diet.
The following frappuccino style protein shake will wake you up, cool you down, and make you pumped full of energy.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Iced Coffee
- 2 Scoops Chocolate Protein
- 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
Directions:
- The easiest way to make iced coffee is to just make regular hot coffee and pour it over ice cubes, or let it sit in the freezer until it becomes half frozen.
- Once the coffee is iced (not solid ice, just cold with bits of ice in it) throw everything in a blender and blend it up.
Twists:
- You can use vanilla protein or even add a couple drops of peppermint extract to this frappuccino style protein shake to simulate your favorite iced coffee drink.
