Cinnamon Toast Flavored Protein Smoothie
This smoothie is thick like a milkshake, tastes like sweet cinnamon toast, and has a great amount of protein. It’s perfect for those with a sweet tooth looking to get a bit more protein in their diet. The taste is especially similar to a delicious morning breakfast. Something like cinnamon French toast or pancakes.
Cottage cheese may sound like a strange smoothie ingredient, but it works well. Cheese is made from milk and milk is a very common base for smoothies. Just try it, if you don’t like it you can try using yogurt, tofu or milk and heavy cream instead.
You can get less calories by using maple extract instead of real maple syrup and using fat free cottage cheese. On the other hand you can increase the calories by using something other than stevia as the sweeter.

- Add 1/2 tsp of xanthan gum to make it even thicker.
