Ultra Thick Bodybuilding Shake
This is the ultimate thick smoothie. If you want a shake you have to eat with a spoon give this one a try. It’s got a lot of protein and calories making it great addition to a bodybuilding diet.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1 scoop protein powder
Directions:
- Blend the oats into a powder.
- Add milk and mix the oat powder with the milk. Mixing the oats with the milk before adding other ingredients will stop the oats from bunching together into lumps. After that add the protein powder and then the rest of the ingredients.
- Blend until smooth.
- Drink.
Twists:
- Try using cottage cheese instead of milk. The smoothie will be a bit thicker and will have a higher amount of protein.
- To slightly decrease thickness, use a non-frozen banana.
